Margaret C. Flynn Obituary (1934

FLYNN, MARGARET C. "Peggy" Age 82 of Elmira, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2017. Peggy was born in Elmira, NY on November 18, 1934 to the late Vincent & Margaret (Splann) Clune. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Benjamin L. Flynn, Jr. and loving son, Bryan Flynn. Peggy is survived by sons & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Jessie Flynn of The Villages, Fl. and Patrick Flynn of Elmira; daughters & sons-in-law, Colleen Flynn, Eileen Buckholtz, Kathleen & Robert Stranger and Maureen & Edward Butler all of Elmira; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Peggy was an Administrative Assistant for the Chemung County Real Property Tax office with many years of service. She was a member of the Elmira Free Academy Class of 1952 Reunion Committee: Elmira Fraternal Order of Eagles: Elmira Elks Lodge: Elmira White Eagles Club and Chemung County Assessor Association. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the outstanding and devoted staff at St Joseph's Skilled Nursing Facility for the enduring loving care they gave to our mother.
