Jo-Ann H. Kondrk Obituary (1942 - 2014)

KONDRK, JO-ANN H. Loving wife, mother and grandmother Age 72 of Elmira, NY passed away at home on Thursday, August 28, 2014. She spent many years on Keuka Lake with her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Hogue; brother, Richard; and aunt, Marion Dailey. Jo-Ann is survived by her loving husband, Stephen H. Kondrk; grandchildren, Anthony, Anissa and Jeffrey at home; her son, Michael and Lordes of Florida with children, Nicholas and Rachel Kondrk; daughters, Stephanie and Margaret Kondrk; sister, Patricia and Basil Livermore with son, Sean; sisters, Gayle and Kim; and many nieces and nephews. Jo-Ann lived and went to school in Painted Post, NY and attended Corning Community College. For over 35 years, she worked at the New York Telephone Company as a night supervisor. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at 10:00AM in St. Patrick's Church, Elmira with the Rev. Walter Wainwright officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Elmira. The Kondrk family would like to thank the staff at Arnot Ogden's second floor Acute Care Section nurses, the Dialysis Unit, Dr. Tibia, Dr. Reilly, and Dr. Becker, their staff and the volunteers that assisted with helping Jo-Ann. A special thanks to Dr. Romeo, Dr. Freeman and their complete staff at IMAST for their excellent care. We would also like to thank Gentiva Home Healthcare for their excellent care.
