James L. Beschler, age 65 of Elmira, started his journey to be with the love of his life, Karen, on Monday, February 2, 2015. Jim is survived by three daughters, Angela Beschler of Elmira, Dawnmarie VanFleet of Horseheads, and Carrie Finch of NC; one son, Robert Sherman of NC; four brothers, LeRoy of Horseheads, Pat (Maureen) of Elmira, Scott (Debbie) of Elmira Heights, Rich (Cheri) of Caledonia; two sisters, Marlene Decker of Cleveland, TN and Linda (Mike) Marks of Elmira; 13 grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Marlin and Minnie Beschler; brother in-law, Roy Decker; and his loving wife, Karen in 2010. Jim served in the US Army from 1970-1973. MEMORIAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD @ PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 238 PENNSYLVANIA AVE, PINE CITY, NY ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 15, 2015 @ 1:00PM.
