Age 65 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 3rd 2017. David was born in Elmira, on March 6th, 1952 and was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Ruth Schecter; wife, Bonnie Schecter; sister, Barbara Schecter; sister and brother in-law, Vivian and James Lindsay, and stepson, Matthew McCormick. He is survived by sisters, Alieen Colunio and Marilyn Schecter; sons, Philip and Joseph (Kelly) Schecter; stepdaughter, Valerie McCormick and Rob Goodwin; grandchildren, David McCormick, Micheall Hampton and Fred Cooper, Michael Hampton, Justin Schecter, Joshua Schecter, Eva Schecter, Olivia Schecter, Nathanial Schecter; great-grandchildren, Holly Hampton, Matthew Hampton, Linda Hall, Fred Cooper Jr.; step-grandchildren, Aiden and Albert Cooper, and many nieces and nephews. GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD IN BATH NATIONAL CEMETERY, ON FRIDAY, JULY 7TH AT 10:00AM.
